Lo, she is a terrible Goddess was in charge of design, plans and planning permission, beating down suppliers on price [poor buggers], painting windows, cooking, washing, designing the heating system, repairing broken cats and dogs, taking me for walks and pole dancing.

Tiggz and Penfold were in charge of building the oast house, not having hangovers, naming all the bricks, shouting "egg" when they threw cement at me and showing brotherly love.

I was in charge of adding when I should have subtracted and we ended up with exactly twice the amount of building blocks we needed - whoops.
I was also in charge of climbing up ladders to bitumen the roundel's roofs - [they were made of bricks - most are tiled].

And then, one evening, it was finished.
It had an inside too...........

.......... so we could have a little lie down

or make ourselves a cup of tea.

Tiggz and Penfold then went off and did their 'thang'.

The TG and I ran out of money [we had to borrow from her mother to finish the project off], then we sold up, bought a boat and sailed off into the sunset .......... but that's another story.

(It wasn't a sunset, it was a force 9 gale in the Bay of Biscay. Most refreshing. Lo,TG Ed)

If you look at last Sunday's post and the one before, you'll find some other photographs - use the calender to your left.
