I’ve come up with a brilliant new game that fathers and sons can play to bring them closer together.

When the postman has been, collect all the letters and take them into a room far enough away from the goddess of the house so that she won’t be disturbed.

Then you take it in turns to throw darts at the letters that are tossed up by your partner in crime, one at a time, in front of the door of the room. The idea is to try and pin a letter to the door. As soon as one person manages to do it, swap over roles.
Double points are scored if you manage to stick one envelope on top of another and points are taken away if you end up with a dart in your arm.

I was going to call this game “The Father, the Son and the Holey Post” but with all the recent fuss about naming a teddy bear ‘Mohammed’, I think I’ll stick to “Look out! Here comes the TG!”

(I’ll join you in a game. I won’t be aiming at the letters tho’…..Lo,TG Ed)
