Avid readers there will soon be another member of the family.
Of late there has been a tendency towards computer rage. Apparently, Lo, the terrible Goddess thinks that she would like access to Mac more frequently.
Incidentally, Mac the knife is cutting through the interweave beautifully at the moment. The beachball of death appears infrequently and then only briefly. The reason of course is that he hasn’t been upset by Papersurfer recently.
Anyway to restore our usual state of bliss, of which, you can have too much, believe me, we have decided to get a lappy top.
Obviously there is only one choice, a MacBook Pro 17” with loads of rams, a hard drive to die for and, most important, it’s related to Mac so he’ll have some company.
As I said to Lucy Pepper, Macs are the umbrellas of the computing world, simple to use and completely reliable and offering protection and help to drips like me.
Whenever I’m approached by strange men in overcoats and asked,
“ Do you have a light Mac?” I always say “Yes – it’s a white one actually” and soon I’ll be able to add “and a lappy!”.
The problem is that we are broke at the moment. The terrible Goddess is very high maintenance, spending a fortune on her beauty regime. (The glorious results of which may not be fully revealed lest the entire universe be laid waste. Lo, TG. Ed.)
So, what I am hoping for, is that one of the Chief Executives of the mighty Apple Mackintosh Corporation is an avid reader and will realise what terrific advertising this blog is. I just know that soon a letter will arrive begging me to accept a gift of a MACBOOK PRO 17”, which is a brilliant non PC, particularly for old farts like me and PC’S are rubbish and the graphics on MACS actually look nice and MACS are really user friendly, I cannot recommend them highly enough and, in case you haven’t noticed, I have no pride and will pimp MACS to my dying breath [ which, if don’t stop now, will be soon, courtesy of the TG who needs to use Mac to book a hair appointment ] ……………………..bye.
Coming soon ‘ Earth closets I have known and loved ‘
