I'm beginning to get an inkling of how Lucy Pepper suffers. Blogzira is well worth a read even if just to watch a brain explode and implode at the same time.

One of the joys of buying your copy of the Radio Times [The BBC's TV listing guide] is the amount of junk mail stuffed inside. This normally gets thrown straight in the bin, [no recycling nonsense in this house - the sooner the human race drowns itself in it's own detritus the better as far as I'm concerned]. Anyway one of the leaflets caught my eye.
It was from Marks and Spencer advertising CAR insurance. Marks and Spencer is a very well thought of company, with stores everywhere .
After the usual blah de blah de blah it said:
"We are also able to provide this document in Braille, large print or audio cassette upon request"!
Hmmm ......... ......... methinks more unthinking PC rubbish.

AND the other thing that brought my goat nearer was this Green issues bandwagon nonsense, at the bottom. It read:
"Printed on Revive 50:50 Silk paper comprising 50% virgin fibre, 25% de-inked post-consumer waste and 25% pre-consumer waste, pulps used are elemental chlorine-free"
What does all that mean and who cares? What's the impact of all the extra ink needed to print this sort of drivel?
Do I feel better now? Bothered..

Oh dear, your spleen's in a very bad way, Peabrain. I think we'd better go for a nice soothing hike - or better still, why don't you take one on your own? Lo, TG Ed.

I wrote this a couple of days ago. I feel much better now. I think the TG was very wise to throw me out suggest I went for a walk.
