In this neck of the woods, that means fish and chips! I don’t actually go to a fish and chip shop for this delicacy – heavens, I might meet a real human being. Oh no, either the TG or I cook this delightful répas from scratch …..



…….. using frozen chips, frozen fish and a tin of mushy peas – perfect.

[This has reminded me of the old question of how you can have five ‘ands’ in a row in a sentence and it still makes sense.

A fish and chip shop owner has just had the sign over his shop repainted. He takes one look at it and says to the sign writer –

“Sorry mate, you’ll have to re-do it – there’s too much space between Fish and and and and and Chips”]
