I once didn’t get a teaching job because, apparently, I ‘was too much of an individual’. I have no piercings, no tattoos, my hair is traditionally cut and my clothes are quite normal……………





……….. I suppose wearing a cardboard box on my head might have caused concern and the faint smell of unwashed llama and the fact I kept saying “When is blogging going to be invented? ……. ooooo, and the interweave?”

Still, a few years later after they’d seen sense, they did employ me – on a part-time basis because, as someone mumbled to me “You’re only half there aren’t you DP.”
Fair enough ………………
