According to A.A.Milne, Christopher Robin was a gay young fella – my, how the language has changed – and, as we all know, 'went down with Alice' – gosh, this is going from bad to worse!



The wisdom of A.A. Milne also warned us of an irrevocable truth, one that must not be taken lightly – DO NOT TREAD ON THE CRACKS IN PAVEMENTS – OTHERWISE THE BEARS WILL GET YOU!

This was a problem that I could cope with in the good old days when pavements were made out of proper paving stones. Nowadays however it is extremely difficult to avoid the cracks due to the preponderance of pavers – those pretty but tricky little bricks that are proliferating at an alarming rate.

I now have to take eeny peeny weeny steps to keep safe and, quite frankly, I’m developing a mince.

I don’t care what I look like though, I am NOT GOING TO LET THOSE DARN BEARS GET ME.
